Glomson Retail Park is located near the centre of Espoo. The area hosts the retail outlet of IKEA, which holds a significant portion of the furniture market in the metropolitan area of Helsinki and even the entire county of Uusimaa. The Turku-Helsinki-St. Petersbourg highway E2, which runs through the southern part of Finland, as well as the railroad running west from Helsinki, dominates the scenery of the area. The development plan for Espoo, the second largest city in Finland, includes several ideas for enlivening the centre of Espoo, some of which have been realised and some of which are still under way. The commercial services of the area were remarkably increased when the Entresse shopping centre was opened in the centre of Espoo in 2009, and the area also includes the largest construction supply chain, K-Rauta in Espoo and several other commercial outlets connected to building and interiors, such as Lasitiili Ltd. and A.W. Liljeberg Ltd. The anchor tenants include Elgiganten, Indoor Group, Kvik and Iittala.
